The Level 1 Customer Service & Support Representative position will be responsible for providing basic technical support & superior customer service within the web hosting/web security industry. The incumbent will be providing support via phone, live chat, internal ticketing system and emails. You will be required to become very knowledgeable regarding the products and services that we carry as well as very familiar with our internal web-based systems, as well as how to cooperate with our international teams and large vendors. On a regular basis, you will identify, research and resolve or escalate all customer issues; including technical, sales and billing related questions, using our internal software and vendor portals.
Other duties and responsibilities include; continually define, refine, optimize and implement processes and procedures for our local and international support teams as they come up. As well as, provide technical assistance to our sales and marketing teams when needed. Also, ensuring our websites remain up-to-date as new information or processes are discovered by simply notifying the proper team members.
This position is extremely flexible in terms of scheduling and is conveniently located downtown, minutes away from the USF St. Petersburg campus. There are full-time positions available and this is also ideal for someone who wants to work part-time that is currently enrolled in classes as we can work around class schedules easily. It's ideal for a person that has the willingness to research, study and learn on their own to become extremely knowledgeable at what they do to help us take our company to the next level by way of excellent customer support within a very exciting & youthful industry. Any candidate to be considered must have at least the following minimum skills:
- Strong computer & Microsoft Office skills
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Some web/technology knowledge is preferred
- Another language is a big plus, but definitely not required
