Configuring the WHMCS Module

Introduction

Now that you’ve successfully completed the installation of The SSL Store™’s WHMCS Module, you will need to configure the module. If you still need to complete the installation of the WHMCS Module, please review our installation article ,which will guide you on getting the module all installed.

  1. Prior to configuring The SSL Store™ Module, you will need to login to the Administrator side of WHMCS.

Note: The typical URL path for the Administrator interface is “/admin/”, but this could have been changed. Please ensure that you proceed to the proper URL as configured.

  1. Once logged in, proceed to the “Addons -> The SSL Store™ Module” page so you can continue to configure the module.

Module Configuration

  1. On the page, you should be greeted by our “Fresh Install Dashboard” which will assist you in getting on board, to begin just click the button “Begin Setup” which will bring you to the “Settings” page.

API Settings

  1. For the “Settings” page, you will need to input your “Live PartnerCode,” Live AuthToken,”Test PartnerCode” and “Test AuthToken.”
    1. To obtain the “PartnerCode” and “AuthToken” for both our “Live” and “Sandbox” environment, you will need to go to the API Token Generation page at The SSL Store™ while logged in, which will assist you in generating them.
      • Once you have generated both the “PartnerCode” and “AuthToken” please pass them over to their respective environment fields.
    2. For the “Operation Mode” you are given two options for “Live” and “Test” which allows you to submit actual orders and test orders, by default we recommend “Test” until you are ready to start selling.

Import Products

  1. Once the credentials are saved and validated, you will be brought to the “Import Products” page, which will ask you to select a product group, currency, and a profit margin for the products.
    1. Upon confirming the group, currency and the profit margin, click “Import Products,” which will begin importing of all the products offered by The SSL Store™.

Cron Configuration

  1. For the final part of the configuration, you will need to configure The SSL Store™’s WHMCS Module crons listed on the page.
    1. When setting up the cron, please be sure to amend the “/your whmcs path/” to the proper folder location of your WHMCS Installation, otherwise the cron will not run.
  2. As soon as you’ve successfully set up all the crons you can click the “Next” button which will complete the onboarding process for the module!
