Introduction
To complete installation of The SSL Store™’s WHMCS Module, you will first need to download the module from the WHMCS Integration page within your partner account at The SSL Store™. Once you’ve downloaded the module, please proceed with unzipping the download and the contents so you have the “modules” folder unzipped.
File Uploading
- Now that you’ve successfully extracted the download, you will want to connect via FTP to your server.
Note: Uncertain which FTP Client to use? The SSL Store™ recommends FileZilla due to the compatibility across all operating systems.
- Once connected, proceed to the directory housing your WHMCS Installation.
- Within the directory listing, locate the “modules” folder and click the folder so you see a list of folders, specifically the “addons” and “servers” folders.
- First proceed into the addons folder and copy the folder “thesslstorefullv2_admin” from the downloaded package so the files begin to upload.
- Upon completion of the upload, proceed back to the “modules” directory and then into the “servers” directory.
- Drag the folder “thesslstorefullv2” over so that the files begin uploading.
- After completion of the upload, proceed to your WHMCS Admin Login page.
WHMCS Configuration
Note: The typical URL path for the Administrator interface is “/admin/”, but this could have been changed. Please ensure that you proceed to the proper URL as configured.
- At this point, you should proceed to login to your WHMCS System using a login that has the role of “Full Administrator” so they can properly configure the module.
- Once logged in, proceed to the “Setup -> Addon Modules” page so you can continue to set up the module.
- At the bottom of that page, there will be an option of “The SSL Store™ Module” with the options of “Activate”, “Deactivate” and “” The last two will be disabled for now.
- Click the “Activate” button, which will begin the installation of the module.
- Upon receiving the confirmation “Addon Module Activated,” scroll to the bottom once more and click the “Configure” button.
- Clicking the “Configure” button will display a permissions menu for your WHMCS System. Proceed with selecting which groups you would like to be able to access The SSL Store™ Module and click “Save Changes”.
- At this point, you’re all set up and ready to start configuring! To proceed with the setup process, go to the menu “Addons -> The SSL Store™ Module”.
