Introduction<\/h2>\n

The SSL Store™ is always working on expanding our WHMCS module with new features and bug fixes. It\u2019s important to stay up-to-date so that you, and your end-users, have the best experience. If you are still working on getting the module installed, no worries, please reference our installation article, which will guide you through getting the module all installed.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Prior to updating The SSL Store™ Module, you will need to proceed with disabling the already installed module.\n
      \n
    1. To disable The SSL Store™ Module, proceed to \u201cSetup -> Addon Modules\u201d<\/em> and at the bottom, click the \u201cDeactivate\u201d<\/em> button by \u201cThe SSL Store™ Module\u201d<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Downloading the Module<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Once the module is disabled, you can proceed to download the latest module from the WHMCS Integration page at TheSSLStore.com\n
          \n
        1. Once you\u2019ve downloaded the module, please proceed with unzipping the download and the contents so you have the \u201cmodules\u201d folder unzipped.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Now that you\u2019ve successfully extracted the download, you will want to connect via FTP to your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Uploading the Module<\/h2>\n

          Note:<\/em><\/strong> Uncertain which FTP Client to use? The SSL Store™ recommends FileZilla <\/em>due to the compatibility across all operating systems. <\/em><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Once connected, proceed to the directory housing your WHMCS Installation.<\/li>\n
          2. Within the directory listing, locate the \u201cmodules\u201d folder and click into the folder so you see a list of folders, specifically the \u201caddons\u201d and \u201cservers\u201d folders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. First proceed into the addons folder and copy the folder \u201cthesslstorefullv2_admin\u201d from the downloaded package so the files begin to upload.\n
                \n
              1. You will get a notice informing you that you will be overwriting the files, click \u201cContinue and do not ask again.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              2. Upon completion of the uploads, proceed back to the \u201cmodules\u201d directory and then into the \u201cservers\u201d directory.<\/li>\n
              3. Drag the folder \u201cthesslstorefullv2\u201d over so that the files begin uploading.\n
                  \n
                1. You will get a notice informing you that you will be overwriting the files, click \u201cContinue and do not ask again.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                2. After completion of the upload, proceed to your WHMCS Admin Login page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  WHMCS Configuration<\/h2>\n

                  Note<\/em><\/strong>: The typical URL path for the Administrator interface is \u201c\/admin\/\u201d, but this could have been changed. Please ensure that you go to the proper URL as configured.<\/em><\/p>\n

                  1. At this point, you should proceed to log in to your WHMCS System using a login that has the role of \u201cFull Administrator<\/em>\u201d so you can properly configure the module.<\/li>\n
                  2. Once logged in, proceed to the \u201cSetup -> Addon Modules\u201d <\/em>page so you can continue to set up the module.<\/li>\n
                  3. At the bottom of that page, there will be an option of \u201cThe SSL Store™ Module\u201d<\/em> with the options of \u201cActivate<\/em>\u201d, \u201cDeactivate<\/em>\u201d and \u201cConfigure,\u201d<\/em> with the last two being disabled.

                  4. Click the \u201cActivate<\/em>\u201d button, which will begin the installation of the module.<\/li>\n
                  5. Upon receiving the confirmation \u201cAddon Module Activated<\/em>,\u201d scroll to the bottom once more and click the \u201cConfigure\u201d button.<\/li>\n
                  6. Clicking the \u201cConfigure\u201d button will display a permissions menu for your WHMCS System. Proceed with selecting which groups you would like to be able to access The SSL Store™ Module and click \u201cSave Changes.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
