Between bug fixes and features improvements, it\u2019s crucial to stay up to date to ensure that the level of automation provided by AutoInstall SSL is at peak performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Note:<\/em><\/strong><em> There\u2019s actually a nifty feature built into AutoInstall SSL for cPanel that allows for you to automatically stay up to date for most releases.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Download the latest AutoInstall SSL Module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To begin the update process, you will need to download the module from within your control panel. Once downloaded, please proceed with unzipping the download so that you have two folders titled \u201c<em>autoinstallssl\u201d<\/em> and \u201c<em>AutoInstallSSL2.0LaunchKit<\/em>\u201d. Extract the contents of each folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Connect to cPanel using SSH<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon completion of the extraction, open an SSH client and proceed to connect to the cPanel server under a privileged user such as root.<br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong><em>: Uncertain which SSH Client to use? The SSL Store recommends Putty due to the compatibility across all operating systems.<br><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-process-of-using-autoinstall-ssl-for-cpanel0\">Uninstall the older version of AutoInstall SSL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a successful connection to the server you should be greeted with the capability to input terminal commands via the command line interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #17181a; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 600;\">1. Input the below commands&nbsp;<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the command line interface, input the below commands in the following order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"> cd autoinstallssl\n<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">chmod 777 uninstall<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">.\/uninstall<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After inputting the final command, your SSH client should begin populating with text that showcases the plugin actions being taken to uninstall the module. Upon completion of the uninstall you should see a notice informing you \u201c<em>Plugin Uninstall successful!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-process-of-using-autoinstall-ssl-for-cpanel0\">Upload the Latest Version of AutoInstall SSL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Connect to your server using SFTP\/FTP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this point you will need to minimize the SSH client and proceed to connect via SFTP\/FTP to your server under a privileged user such as root.<br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong><em>Note:<\/em><\/strong><em> Uncertain which FTP Client to use? The SSL Store recommends FileZilla due to the compatibility across all operating systems.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Drag the Autoinstall folder into the user folder<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once connected, drag the \u201c<em>autoinstallssl<\/em>\u201d folder you extracted so it appears within the user folder.
