There are a couple of options to get this step completed.<\/p>\n<h3>Alias Email Approval<\/h3>\n<p>The recommended method is to use one of the pre-approved alias email addresses listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin@yourdomain.com<\/li>\n<li>Administrator@yourdomain.com<\/li>\n<li>Webmaster@yourdomain.com<\/li>\n<li>Hostmaster@yourdomain.com<\/li>\n<li>Postmaster@yourdomain.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*The email you are using can also be an alias on a sublevel if this sublevel is the name you would like to secure. Example: Admin@sublevel.yourdomain.com<\/p>\n<p>Please Note:\u202fWHOIS registrant emails are no longer allowed for email-based domain validation.\u202fPlease see <a href=\"https:\/\/cabforum.org\/2024\/11\/14\/ballot-sc080v3-sunset-the-use-of-whois-to-identify-domain-contacts-and-relying-dcv-methods\/\">here<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>An issue that we come across quite frequently is that the above email addresses do not exist for the organization\/customer. A simple work around is to create an email forwarder that can be deactivated as soon as the validation has been completed.<\/p>\n<h3>Email to DNS TXT Contact<\/h3>\n<p>An additional option to use an existing email address would be to use the DNS to email option.
