After you received the trusted certificate and saved the PFX (.p12) file, follow the instructions below to guide you through digitally signing a macro project:<\/p>\n<h3>1. Open your macro project file<\/h3>\n<p>Open the file that contains your macro project<\/p>\n<h3>2. Click Visual Basic<\/h3>\n<p>Under the <strong>Developer <\/strong>tab, in the <strong>Code <\/strong>section, click <strong>Visual Basic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Note:<\/em><\/strong><em> To add the <strong>Developer<\/strong> tab, click <strong>Microsoft Office Button<\/strong>, and then select <strong>Excel Options. <\/strong>Continue by clicking <strong>Popular <\/strong>and then the <strong>Show Developer<\/strong> tab in the <strong>Ribbon <\/strong>check box. <\/em><\/p>\n<h3>3. Select your project<\/h3>\n<p>In your Visual Basic Project Explorer, select your project to sign<\/p>\n<h3>4. Select the Tools menu<\/h3>\n<p>Select <strong>Tools<\/strong> menu and click <strong>Digital Signature<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>5. Select the certificate<\/h3>\n<p>Click <strong>Choose<\/strong> and select the certificate and then click <strong>OK <\/strong>twice<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations!
