If you’re in the business of e-commerce, you know how important it is to make sure your business meets Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. The Hackerguardian PCI Scan Control Center gives you a number of tools you can use to help ensure your website is compliant.
What it does
The Hackerguardian PCI Scan Control Center will perform scheduled scans and generate ‘Ready-to-submit’ PCI Compliance reports you can send to your merchant bank to prove compliance. You’ll also receive detailed reports that identify security holes exposed by HackerGuardian’s 30,000+ tests with actionable fix recommendations already included.
The control center also includes a PCI ‘self-assessment’ questionnaire available via online wizard to help you self-assess your vulnerability.
You have two different options to decide from with the Hackerguardian PCI Scan Control Center: Standard and Enterprise. Let’s take a look at those two different options, how you sign up for the Hackerguardian PCI Scan Control Center, then go over how you log into the Hackerproof dashboard.
Standard Vs. Enterprise
The main difference between the Standard and Enterprise options is the number of scans you can perform and total domains you can perform those scans on.
The Standard Option allows for you to perform a total of 10 scans across a maximum of 5 IPs/domains. With the Enterprise option, you have an unlimited number of scans for up to 20 domains.
Both options still come with the ‘Ready-to-submit’ PCI Compliance reports you can send to your merchant bank to prove compliance and the PCI ‘self-assessment’ questionnaire.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1. Purchase
Purchase the Hackerguardian PCI Scan Control Center from your preferred provider.
2. Generate
Click Generate within your control panel.
3. Create login credentials
Create a username and password. You will use this to log in to the Hackerproof dashboard to configure your scans and see the results. (Usernames and passwords must be min. 8 characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. Do not use an e-mail address as the username.)
4. Enter organization details
Enter in your Organization and Contact information and submit.
Navigating the Hackerproof Dashboard
As soon as your order is submitted, you will receive an e-mail from Comodo confirming your order. Within that e-mail there will be a link to www.hackerguardian.com where you can login with the credentials you created when you generated the order to begin setting up your scans. You can find detailed instructions on how to navigate the dashboard and configure your first scan here.
Although you can configure your scans immediately, scanning on your domain will only commence once Comodo has validated your company details. Once Comodo completes your organization validation, the scans you configured within the control panel will start and once completed you can begin reviewing the results.
