Importing Existing Orders into the WHMCS Module

Starting with version 3.5, The SSL Store™ WHMCS Module now has support for importing orders placed directly in your partner account on TheSSLStore.com. This is extremely beneficial for those partners who might have started their journey prior to integrating and are now seeking out integrating with The SSL Store™. To help assist in getting these orders into WHMCS, The SSL Store™ has created

Note: Prior to proceeding, please ensure that your WHMCS system running with version 3.5 or greater of The SSL Store WHMCS Module. If not, please refer to our other knowledge base article located here on updating.

Pulling Your Order Report

1. Login

Login to TheSSLStore.com and click into your Total Orders

2. Export Total Orders

On the Total Orders page, click the “Export to CSV” link located on the right side of the page.

3. Determine which orders you want to import

Open the exported report and begin notating any orders you wish to import into WHMCS.

If you are uncertain which orders you need to import, a helpful tip is to take notice of the data in the “Transaction ID” column and see if any have beginning with “TOR”. Any orders with this as a string would be orders placed directly in your account.

Upon completion of notating, take note of the specific column titled “TSS Order ID” which is what will be required to complete the import.

Importing Orders into WHMCS

1. Access Module

Now that you have collected all the orders you wish to import, proceed to “Addons -> TheSSLStore Module” in your WHMCS Admin panel.

2. Select Import Orders

Once loaded, click the “Import Orders” link on the left-hand sidebar of the WHMCS interface.

On this page you will need to complete the form to ensure a proper import.

With the options presented click the option “Import order from SSL Store”.

3. Enter SSL Store OrderID

For the portion asking you to “Enter SSL Store OrderID” open your exported report and obtain the input required from the “TSS Order ID” column.

4. Create New or Map to Existing Order

After pasting, you will need to select if you wish to “Create new order in WHMCS Panel” or to “Map with existing order

a. Creating a new order

If you select to create a new order you will be asked to select both the client account in which the order will be created and what payment method WHMCS should register for the order.

After selection, you will have the option to “Generate Invoice” and “Send Email”.

  • The option “Generate Invoice” will raise an invoice against the client account that will need to be paid by the user. If you do not wish to raise an invoice, do not click this option.
  • The option “Send Email” will send the user the order confirmation email so they are aware of this new order.

b. Mapping to an existing order

If you select to map the existing order to an existing service, you will need to obtain the Service ID from the Client’s Product/Service tab of their profile.

5. Import Order

After inputting all the items required for the option selected, click the “Import Order” button which will begin importing the order.

A confirmation pop-up should appear confirming successful importation.

Another way to confirm successful import is to review the table below which should now have the order information and the option to “View” the order which take you to the service panel for that order.
